Hi, I’m Chase, the founder of Chase the Coast—a brand inspired by a love for saltwater fishing, coastal living, and a life rooted in faith.

I grew up in upstate South Carolina, where my passion for fishing started early. Some of my first memories are catching bluegill with a cane pole alongside my grandfather on a quiet little lake. As I got older, bass fishing took hold, and I couldn’t get enough. Every spare moment was spent learning, fishing, and chasing the next catch.

At the same time, the coast was always calling. Family beach trips quickly became my favorite escape, and over the years, the ocean started to feel like home. Something about the saltwater—the power, the serenity, the beauty—pulled me in. I knew even then that one day I’d live on the coast and chase after the fish of my dreams.

Today, that dream’s a reality. I live in South Carolina's Lowcountry with my amazing wife, spending every chance I get chasing offshore species like mahi, wahoo, tuna, and billfish. But at the heart of it all—before fishing, before business—has always been my faith. I gave my life to Christ as a child, and while the journey’s had its ups and downs, my identity has always been in Him. My relationship with Jesus is the foundation of who I am and the heartbeat of this brand.
